“You are busted and you can’t be trusted baby….”
Ok so if you remember that song, there are 3 things we have in common:
1 – We’re probably in the same age bracket (ahem!). Don’t worry nothing like a good eye cream can’t fix!
2 – One of your guilty pleasures are either bad music, boy bands, and one hit wonders or all of the above?!
3 – You were cheated on, oy vey – ok let’s talk about tea, ’cause the other subject requires wine, not tea. #Awkward
It’s cold….

Winter is upon us folks, there’s no denying it! I recently had a Teavana date with my tea accomplice Darlyne and I convinced her to “cheat” on her beloved David’s Tea and go to Teavana with me. I was a woman on a mission armed with a list. I needed to get a few things, some new and some to restock.
The must purchase for me were 2 things – a restock of Spice Of Life tea and another glorious contour tumbler. The secret is out folks, these are 2 things on the list of what makes me happy… err survive….err happy!
Spice Of Life – I don’t even know where to begin. This is just a blend of all things good…. pistachios being one of them and peppercorns. Appetizing?! If you like warm you to your bones spice with a nutty finish, you definitely want to try this tea. Here’s the official blurb… ”
Enliven your senses with a robustly-spiced white tea filled with zesty orange, coriander, pistachios, almonds and a pinch of red pepper.
Use 1.5 teaspoons of tea per 8oz of water. Heat water to 175-180 degrees and steep tea for 1-1.5 minutes. 2oz of tea equals 25-30 teaspoons.
Ingredients: White tea, orange peel, almonds, pistachio nuts, coriander, and red pepper flakes. Contains nuts.”
Contour Travel Tumbler – this is a game changer. You see, I like my teas, coffee, or any hot drink to be hot. Yes scalding hot. I have burnt my tongue numerous times but nothing is as good as a scalding hot drink! Of all the tumblers that I own and I’ve had many, this one lives up to it’s promise. I once filled it up in the morning then actually lost track of time and by the time it was 2:00pm took a sip. It wasn’t scalding (for me!) but it was still definitely hot. Great job Teavana!
Spicy…. and I have a confession to make!
Yes I love spicy teas, and yes I have a YouTube channel. Like seriously, who knew? Another fun fact – yes I’m also addicted to nail polish. You can find videos on both —> here.
Name your blend…
What about you? Do you have a fave tea blend? Or what’s your fave hot drink? Comment below and share!

Yes I cheated, but all teas and I are in an “Open Relationship”. We have an understanding, they way I understand that I really like Teavana’s Slimful Chocolate Decadence Oolong Tea. No shame, just pure “slim”-fulness!
