I pressed “Publish”

We’re now live, I had finally done it and pressed “publish”!

Hi and welcome to my blog! If you already know me – thanks for the support! And if you’re new, hi nice to meet you – thanks for stopping by!

Why this blog you might ask?

Well, I’ve been fortunate enough to be a blog contributor for Talent Formula and whenever I do talk about blogging, about 99% of the time people would ask if I had my own personal blog.

It took a long time for me to wrap my head around sharing pieces of my life online. I mean sure, we all micro-blog to an extent – Facebook, Twitter, Instagram. But I mean actual posts? I’m still getting used to making this my own and not really something focused on my professional expertise like my other blog.

What’s in a name?

In true Asian fashion, I did a lot of research on what to name this blog. After all, I wanted perfection (more on that on another post!) right? I spoke to many, asking my personal board of directors (aka really honest One Asian sistahs’) for their input and through inspiring words from them, The Grace Files was born. I said to someone, if I roll my Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and a bit of LinkedIn into one place, here’s where the real deal behind the scenes look will be.

There were many amazing contributors to this name game, but I couldn’t have done it without Darlyne and Ada.

Thank you Darlyne & Ada – I’m forever grateful!

So now what?

Now that we got all that sorted, what can you expect? I hope to share with you a little slice of my life with a smattering of say it like I mean it somewhere in between. It’s going to be sometimes wacky, or perhaps not so but I’ll try to make it fun!

I do try to live by one of my favorite quotes, “I will hold myself to a standard of grace, not perfection.” – Emily Ley

So let’s see where this ride will take us, shall we? Hang on, the best is yet to come!
